They are super but
not impervious. The Flash movie loses director Seth Grahame-Smith ("Dark
Shadows" screenplay).
Last month's Batman v
Superman: Dawn of Justice fully launched Warner Bros.' shared DC movie universe
with Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder
Woman, and special appearances by Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg,
and Ezra Miller as The Flash.
Last year, Warner
Bros. set Seth Grahame-Smith at the helm of The Flash movie, which he would
write and direct. The choice was interesting to say the least, as Smith's only
directing credits were two episodes of MTV's The Hard Times of RJ Berger,
making the Flash movie Smith's feature directorial debut.
Now however,
according to The Hollywood Reporter, Smith has abandoned the project due to
creative differences, and Warner is beginning to search for a new director to
get the Flash across the finish line.
It's likely we will
never find out exactly what happened since like scheduling conflicts, "creative
differences" has become the go-to excuse whenever someone departs a
project.
Regardless, Warner
will keep Graham-Smith's script, which he wrote working off a treatment by The
Lego Movie directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, so whomever they do
decide is right for the job will not be working from zero.
The Flash movie opens
in theaters on March 16, 2018.

Why can't they use a different Flash character than Barry Allen? Barry Allen's THE FLASH is already a TV series hit so why steal it? Typical DC stupidity.
