If you think
Lucasfilm and J.J. Abrams just sneak into George Lucas' attic, and dusted off
the cobwebs from the old props and models that defined a generation, and
continue to do so, to use on The Force Awakens, you would be somewhat mistaken.
Entertainment Weekly
has released brief video exploring the iconic Millennium Falcon from its original
construction to the tweaks made for the new film, including how story elements and
time defined some of the modifications made to the Corellian YT-1300 light
freighter.
From old to new, we
are also given some details regarding Rey's (Daisy Ridley) desert speeder,
which shares some similarities with Luke's speeder from Star Wars, old cars,
and has nothing to do with Hasbro's toy.
