Gary Oldman Has Had Talks For Star Wars: Episode VII

Since its announcement back in 2012there have been tons of casting rumors for J.J. Abrams Star Wars: Episode VII and now it seems that another name has been added to this long list. In a recent interview to Sky Movies for RoboCop, actor Gary Oldman was asked if after appearing in big tentpole movies and franchises like Harry Potter, Batman, Planet of the Apes and now RoboCop is Star Wars next.

"They've called, yeah," ... "I'm more cynical about it (casting) now, I believe it when I'm on the plane home. You know, the deal isn't done (until then). But yeah, they've inquired."
