New bystander
pictures from the Nepal set of Marvel's Doctor Strange have landed and
they reveal a bearded Benedict Cumberbatch trudging through a market, in what I
assume is the middle to end part of the first act, when he meets with The
Ancient One (Tilda Swinton).
In the comics, The
Ancient One trains Strange in the mystic arts following Strange's pleas for
him to heal his hands, which had become injured (which you can see in the photos below) following a car accident and
rendered useless for a surgeon.

Director Scott
Derrickson is in charge of bringing some magic to the MCU, and for that he has
assembled quite the cast, which besides Cumberbatch and Swinton also includes
Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, and Mads Mikkelsen. Michael Stuhlbarg is
currently in talks to joins the project.
Marvel's Doctor
Strange opens on November 4, 2016.
