Known for his way
with words on HBO's Deadwood, Ian McShane returns for a role on the sixth
season of one of the network's flagship drama, Game of Thrones.
McShane's character is
being kept a secret, but according to Entertainment Weekly he will have a small
but important role in the upcoming new season of the fantasy drama that will
delve into territory not yet braved by creator George R.R. Martin.
With production
already underway, the sixth season of Game of Thrones is expected to premiere
sometime next Spring.
