Until something
official is announced this is nothing more than a rumor, but it appears as if
James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender have prolonged their deals with 20th
Century Fox to star as Professor Charles Xavier and Magneto, respectively, in
future installments of the X-Men franchise.
According to Heroic
Hollywood, both stars have signed new deals with the studio over the weekend
that will extend their participations in the X-Men franchise past the upcoming
X-Men Apocalypse.
Furthermore, it seems
that the studio is also looking to have Nicholas Hoult, and Jennifer Lawrence sign
new deals that will see them return as Beast and Mystique, respectively, though
Lawrence already revealed that it would depend on her availability and salary.
Personally I would
like to see Magneto take on some more heroic duties and alongside Professor X,
Mystique, and Beast, become a mentor to the recently recast characters. What
about you?
