Street, and Never Let Me Go actress Lydia Wilson has joined the cast of director Justin
Lin and writers Simon Pegg and Doug Jung's Star Trek Beyond.
Details on Wilson's character are
being kept under wraps, as are the particulars about fellow newcomers to the
franchise Sofia Boutella, Joe Taslim, and Idris Elba, who we know is playing a villain.
Set to open on July 8, 2016, Star Trek Beyond also stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, Karl Urban, and John Cho.
