
Despite having recently lost J.K.
Simmons and Michael Keaton due to scheduling conflicts, Legendary plows through
with reports that Brie Larson is in talks to join Tom Hiddleston in the upcoming Kong: Skull
Island.
According to Deadline, the
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Short Term 12, and 21 Jump Street actress is talks
with the studio to lead Jordan Vogt-Roberts' monster movie. Furthermore it
seems that Russell Crowe is being courted to replace either Simmons or Keaton.
This will be a big jump for
the talented actress, who despite her incredible talent has yet to shine in a
big blockbuster movie.
Set in 1970's Detroit, Kong:
Skull Island is scheduled to begin production later this year for a March 10,
2017 release.
