With Furious 7
breaking records, and surprisingly becoming one of the highest grossing films
of all time (4th to be precise), just below The Avengers, Titanic, and Avatar,
it's no surprise that Universal was quick to announce a follow-up, which will
be set in New York according Vin Diesel.
The franchise star
has shared on his instagram account an unofficial poster for the sequel, which
indicates that it will be set in New York City.
Set to open on April
14, 2017, Fast & Furious 8 will see Diesel reprising his role as well as
Dwayne Johnson.
