
So far, director Brad Bird is four for four. Four
feature films (The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Mission:
Impossible - Ghost Protocol), four outstanding films, so his fifth one,
Tomorrowland is being eagerly eyed by everyone.
Disney (via Mashable) has released a new
featurette for Tomorrowand highlighting its connection to Walt Disney and his
vision of a utopian future.
Starring Britt Robertson as a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific
curiosity and George Clooney as Frank
Walker a former boy-genius inventor jaded by disillusionment,
Tomorrowland will follow these two characters on a danger-filled mission to
unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space that
exists in their collective memory.
Opening on May 22nd Tomorrowland also stars Hugh
Laurie, Judy Greer, Lochlyn Munro, Michael Rowe, Chris Bauer, David Nykl,
Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, Raffey Cassidy, and Thomas Robinson.
