Focus Features has released the poster for Sinister II. Due to his Marvel's
Doctor Strange duties, Scott Derrickson didn't return to helm the horror sequel,
but he did together with C. Robert Cargill penned the script for director Ciaran
Foy (Citadel).
Scheduled to hit theaters on August 21st, Sinister II stars Shannon
Sossamon, James Ranson, Robert Sloan, Dartanian Sloan, Tate Ellington, and
Nicholas King.
In the aftermath of the shocking events [of] “Sinister,” a protective
mother (Shannyn Sossamon of “Wayward Pines”) and her 9-year-old twin sons
(real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house
marked for death as the evil spirit of Buhguul continues to spread with
frightening intensity.
