Four months ago the 88-second
teaser for J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuted and like any good teaser,
it raised more questions than it gave an answer to, including when will we see
the full trailer?
According to
Collider, the first full trailer for J.J. Abrams Star Wars: The Force Awakens will,
as expected, premiere at the Star Wars Celebration, which runs from April 16th
to 19th. However, since they claim that it will also be attached to every copy
of Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron, which starts to premiere on April
22nd, it means that we should expect something official to land online sometime
in between.
They and we can't say
for sure that the trailer will definitely become available online in the time
between Celebration and the Age of Ultron worldwide premiere, but it's unlikely
that Disney would want a low-res copy circling, instead of an official HD
version.
Regardless, adding
the Star Wars trailer to the Avengers sequel is good move by Disney since it
will probably be one of the biggest movies of the year, with one of the biggest
openings.
