Pre-production on Tim Miller's directorial debut seems to be building up.
According to Deadline, Fox is currently testing six actresses for the female
lead role in the upcoming big screen adaptation of Deadpool, which will star
Ryan Reynolds in the titular role of Wade Wilson, the Merc With A Mouth.
According to the site Morena Baccarin (Homeland), Taylor Schilling (Orange
is the New Black), Crystal Reed (Teen Wolfe), Rebecca Rittenhouse (The Red Band
Society), Sarah Green (Vikings), and Jessica De Gouw (Arrow) are being tested
to play opposite Reynolds in the highly anticipated film.
Written by Rheyy Reese, and Paul Wernick, Deadpool is schedule to open on
February 12, 2016.
