According to
Deadline, DC Entertainment is continuing to expand their TV Universe, and this
time it is with the addition of the Teen Titans live-action series to Arrow,
The Flash, Gotham, Constantine, and iZombie.
The series, which will count with Nightwing as team leader was written by Akiva Goldsman,
and Marc Haimes, and is set to air on TNT. Apparently, they are only awaiting
for the green-light to start shooting the pilot.
"Titans
revolves around the eponymous group of young Super Heroes-to-be from the DC
Universe. The action series centers on Dick Grayson (probably best known for
his alter ego as Robin), who emerges from the shadow of Batman to become
Nightwing, the leader of a fearless band of new Super Heroes including
Starfire, Raven and many others."
A few months ago
there were some rumors that Nightwing was going to make an appearance in Arrow
and also in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but now it seems like it won't
be in neither of those.
What do you
think of a live-action Teen Titans tv series, and what roster would you like to
see?
