After a failed tv show, Joe Hill and Gabriel
Rodriguez' comic book Locke & Key is once again being adapted to the screen.
The man in charge of developing the script is screenwriter Albert Torres, who
recently done a draft for the live-action Akiramovie, as well as Ben 10, and an adaptation of
Dark Horse's Hyde.
The project is set at Universal Pictures, and
according to THR, IDW's CEO Ted Adams, Alex Kurtzman, and Roberto Orci are co-producing
it.
Acclaimed
suspense novelist and New York Times best-selling author Joe Hill (Heart-Shaped
Box) creates an all-new story of dark fantasy and wonder: Locke & Key.
Written by Hill and featuring astounding artwork from Gabriel Rodriguez, Locke
& Key tells of Keyhouse, an unlikely New England mansion, with fantastic
doors that transform all who dare to walk through them... and home to a hate-filled
and relentless creature that will not rest until it forces open the most
terrible door of them all... -
