If you haven't seen the pilot - SPOILERS
It looks like Constantine's showrunners wanted to go
in a "different direction" with Constantine, as they decided to cut out
actress Lucy Griffiths' character Liv, who she played in the pilot episode and
go with another character instead.
The new supporting character in Constantine will then
be Zed, who in the original source material was John's lover and later on a
pagan sorceress.
According to THR, "she will appear
in an early episode of the series, with additional characters from Hellblazer
and the occult DC universe to be introduced later. Zed will, however, be the
first to appear."
The more the merrier. Dr. Fate should
appear since his helmet got some light in the pilot, but who else? Etrigan,
Zatanna? Who would you like to see in the show?
