Sony Pictures have acquired the

The novel is the first in a
four-part book series, which Sony also optioned with the intent of making a
franchise.
Speaking to Variety, Roth said:
“We think this could be the next Bourne Identity movie series. The Russo brothers are the most dynamic filmmakers working today.”
In the source material, a CIA
operative-tuned-assassin tries to protect his daughters, which don't know he
exist, while evading mysterious forces.
Also speaking to Variety, the Russo brothers said that they are influenced by the 1970's films and filmmakers and are interesting in making this franchise stand within the genre.
“We found the material to be very compelling and ultra
realistic and has a great character at the heart of it,” Joe Russo said. “We
are most interested in stories that are entrenched in the most modern elements
that go on today and we think this book does an amazing job at explaining that.”
