We are back for another box-office weekend, and
surprise, surprise Captain America: The Winter Soldier stepped down to second
place on the countdown thanks to the new release, The Other Woman by Nick
Cassavetes and starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, Kate Upton and Nikolaj
Coster-Waldau.
The other two new releases, Brick Mansions and The
Quiet Ones had more modest premieres.
As for the rest of
the list, there are no big surprises, with the exception of Transcendence,
which is setting itself up to be Johnny Depp's fourth flop in a row. With a reportedly
$100 million dollar budget but only managing to achieve $18,472,000 in its
second week, things are not looking good.
