The longest running animated series ever just got one of the biggest syndication deals of all time. The series was acquired by FX’s new network FXX, which will show the 24 seasons, 530 episodes of the popular animation, and is expected to start airing them as early as next August. But fans rejoice, because the deal goes on step further than just acquiring the series, it says that for the first ever the episodes will available to stream on demand for those that are FXX subscribers. Those of you that want to watch the series episodes will need to subscribe to the not yet launched FXX app, titled FXNOW.
There
aren’t any official numbers as too how much all this bucket of magnificence
cost but rumors say it was upwards of $750 million.
The
new network also has in their roster of shows the very popular It’s Always
Sunny in Philadelphia and The League.
