It seems that after a failed attempt by NBC
to bring Wonder Woman to the small screen, CW became interested and begun
developing an Arrow type show called Amazon, which was about the origins of the
character, nut even so the project seemed doomed to never reach our tv’s.
But… according to TVline, CW boss Mark
Pedowitz was recently asked during a press conference to showcase CW’s new
shows if the Amazon series was still in development. “Oh god, yes” was his immediate
reply. He then continued by saying that “It is
being redeveloped,” “and
we’re waiting for the script to come in”. which according to THR is by
Aron Eli Coleite from Heroes. “We do not want to produce something that doesn’t
work for that character. It is the trickiest of DC characters to get done.”
So if the Amazon princess is going to appear
in our small screens it won’t be until next year at least.
