According
to The Holliwood Reporter, actress Scarlett Johansson is in final negotiations
for the lead role in Lucy, an upcoming Luc Besson sci-fi action movie, which
already has a worldwide distribution deal made with Universal. Besides Johansson
no other actors have been cast.
Lucy
is an action movie with a strong sci-fi component and it’s “about a young woman who is forced to become a drug mule and
inadvertently manages to absorb the drug she’s carrying into her own system.
Rather than landing her in the hospital, the drug gives her superhuman powers,
including telekinesis, the elimination of all sensations of pain or discomfort,
and the ability to absorb knowledge instantaneously.”
We
are looking forward to see what Besson will bring to the table, because with

Once
the casting of Scarlett Johansson is official, we can hope to see more casting
and plot details. The film doesn’t have a release date yet, but has always he
