After debuting into the stop-motion scene with the marvelous big screen
adaptation of Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr. Fox in 2009, Wes Anderson returns with
Isle of Dogs, a mysterious project that he is currently photographing in
England.
Details are being kept under wraps, but in a video presentation, the
filmmaker revealed the impressive and massive voice cast that he has picked to
bring his latest project to life.
Therefore, voicing Anderson's second stop-motion animated film is Bryan
Cranston, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Scarlett Johansson, F. Murray Abraham,
Tilda Swinton, Kunichi Nomura, Akira Ito, Harvey Keitel, Koyu Rankin, Akira
Takayama, Yoko Ono, Bob Balaban, Liev Schreiber, Greta Gerwig, Courtney B.
Vance, Frances McDormand, and Edward Norton, who leads the pack as a dog named
Rex.
Isle of Dogs doesn't yet have a release date.
