Jamie Foxx channels
his inner Liam Neeson in this quick first teaser for Swiss filmmaker Baron bo
Odar's ("Who Am I") upcoming action thriller Sleepless.
In the film, Foxx
plays an undercover Las Vegas police officer called Vincent Downs, who is
caught in a high stakes web of corrupt cops and the mob-controlled casino
underground. When a heist goes wrong, a crew of homicidal gangsters kidnaps
Downs’ teenage son. In one sleepless night he will have to rescue his son,
evade an internal affairs investigation and bring the kidnappers to justice.
Premiering in the spring
of 2017, Sleepless also stars Tip "T.I." Harris, Scoot McNairy, Gabriel
Union, Michelle Monaghan, Dermot Mulroney, David Harbour, and Octavius J.
Johnson.
