Sony has released a new
trailer for Ron Howard's Inferno. Based on Dan Brown's book of the same name,
Inferno stars Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon, a famous symbologist who wakes up with amnesia in an Italian hospital and
teams with a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories and
prevent a the release of a deadly plague upon the world.
Inferno is the third time
Hanks as played Langdon. The actor first played the character in 2006's The Da
Vinci Code, and once again in the 2009's Angels & Demons. All three films
were directed by Ron Howard.
Opening on October 12, 2016,
Inferno also stars Felicity Jones, Omar Sy, Irrfan Khan, Ben Foster, and Sidse
Babett Knudsen.
