Beasts Of No Nation breakout
star Abraham Attah is joining the cast of Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios Spider-Men:
Homecoming.
The 15-year old
Ghana-born actor made his acting debut last year in the critically acclaimed Netflix
film Beasts Of No Nation from director Cary Fukunaga and also starring Idris
Elba. Though short-changed by not receiving an Oscar nomination for his stellar
performance, the young actor did win Black Reel, Ghana, Independent Spirit,
National Board of Review, Venice, and Marcello Mastroianni awards. The actor
also received nominations for Critics' Choice and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Currently in
production with Cop Car director Jon Watts at the helm, Spider-Man: Homecoming also
stars Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Donald Glover, Michael
Keaton, Zendaya, Logan Marshal-Green, Kenneth Choi, Tony Revolori, Hannibal
Buress, Michael Barbieri, Laura Harrier, Martin Starr, J.J. Totah, Jorge
Lendeborg Jr., and Isabella Amara.
Spider-Man:
Homecoming opens in theaters on July 7, 2017.
