Five-time Academy
Award nominee and one-time winning actor Jeff Bridges has joined Matthew Vaughn's upcoming sequel to his 2014 raunchy
action spy-thriller Kingsman: The Secret Service, The Golden Circle.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle will see Eggsy (Taron Egerton) and Merlin (Mark Strong) going on a
new mission and teaming with the Statesman, the Kingsman's American
counterparts.
Set to start production later this spring for a June
10, 2017 release, Kingsman: The Golden Circle also stars Channing Tatum Sophie
Cookson, Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, Elton John, Pedro Pascal, and Edward
Holcroft.
Colin Firth is also set to appear though in what
capacity remains unclear since his character died in the first film.
