Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Gavin
O'Connor's ("The Warrior") upcoming action thriller The Accounted
starring Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick.
In the film, Affleck plays Christian Wolff, a math
savant who works as a freelance accountant for some of the World's most
dangerous criminal organizations. When the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement
Division starts to close in on him, Christian takes on a legitimate
client where an accounting clerk played by Anna Kendrick has discovered a
discrepancy in the books. But
as Christian begins to uncook the books and get closer to the truth, it is the
body count that starts to rise.
Also starring J.K. Simmons, Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey Tambor, and John
Lithgow, The Accountant opens in theaters on October 14.
