The first trailer for
writer/director Matt Ross' upcoming indie comedy-drama Captain Fantastic has
come out and it gives off a Little Miss Sunshine vibe, including the mode of transportation.
Starring Viggo
Mortensen, Captain Fantastic is set in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, where
a father devoted to raising his six kids with a rigorous physical and
intellectual education is forced to leave his paradise and enter the world,
challenging his idea of what it means to be a parent.
Set to open in theaters on July
8, Captain Fantastic also stars Kathryn
Hahn, Steve Zahn, Erin Moriarty, Missi Pyle, Frank Langella, George MacKay, Samantha Isler, Annalise Basso, and
Nicholas Hamilton.
