The first trailer for Marvel's Doctor Strange has
finally arrived, and although skips on action, it does feature plenty of mind
bending moments just as Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige promised it
would.
Directed by Sinister and The
Exorcism Of Emily Rose director Scott Derrickson, Doctor Strange tells the
story of Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), an acclaimed neurosurgeon who uncovers the hidden world of magic and
alternate dimensions after a near-fatal car accident.
From a script by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus), Marvel's Doctor Strange also stars Tilda
Swinton as the Ancient One, Chiwetek Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Madds Mikkelsen as
an evil sorcerer who breaks off into his own sect, Benedict Wong as Strange's
trusted associate Wong, Rachel McAdams as a fellow surgeon that shares a past
with Strange, and Michael Stuhlbarg, Scott Adkins, and Amy Landecker in
undisclosed roles.
Doctor Strange opens in theaters on November 4.
