According to Variety, 20th Century Fox has tapped
screenwriters duo Brandon and Phillip Murphy (Transference) to work on the script for the
upcoming big screen adaptation of Mark Millar and Leinil Yu's Superior.
"Simon Pooni had it all going for him – plenty of friends at school
and good looks, and his coach called him one of the most talented basketball
players he's ever seen. But that was when he could still move his legs. Now,
he's living with multiple sclerosis, missing all the little things he used to
take for granted, and escaping into the world of movies and comics with his
best friend. Then…SUPERIOR entered his life."
Tarquin Pack will produce the adaptation alongside Matthew Vaughn, who in
the past produced, wrote, and directed some of Millar's works such as Kick-Ass
and The Secret Service.
