20th Century Fox has aired a couple of new TV
spots for the highly anticipated Deadpool, which among other things feature Colossus
(Stefan Kapicic) and Negasonic
Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) walking towards the hangar deep below the
X-Mansion and the X-Men's favorite form of transportation the Blackbird. The
spots also include some new footage of Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) talking to
Weasel (T.J. Miller) and Blind Al
(Leslie Uggams).
Directed by Tim Miller, Deadpool also stars Gina Carano as Angel
Dust, Ed Skrein as Ajax, and Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, aka Copycat.
Deadpool opens on February 12.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional
anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative
turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment
that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool.
Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts
down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
