According to Twitch, 20th Century Fox and the producers of the upcoming adaptation of the popular video game franchise Assassin’s Creed are eyeing Safe House director Daniel Espinosa to helm the tentpole movie.
Espinosa made his debut in 2010
with the hit film Easy Money, which was followed by Safe House, starring Denzel
Washington and Ryan Rynolds. The director is currently finishing up Child 44,
which will be released later this year.
The Assassin’s Creed adaptation
will star Michael Fassbender, who also co-produces the film that is set to be
released in August 7th, 2015.
