Delroy Lindo (Malcolm X, The
Cider House Rules, Gone in 60 Seconds) has joined the cast of Marvel's Most
Wanted where he will star opposite Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood.
In the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
spinoff, Lindo will play Dominic Fortune, a globetrotting rogue,
adventurer, and handgun aficionado from the 1930s who craves wealth and excitement.
The character was created in 1975 by comic book legend Howard Chaykin.
"Dominic Fortune carries with him a cunning and charm but also a
dangerous edge that only Delroy could bring to life," said executive
producer and Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. "We're thrilled to have him
join the show."
Palicki and Blood
will reprise their characters from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Barbara
"Bobbi" Morse, also known as Mockingbird, and Lance Hunter,
respectively.
The pilot for Marvel's
Most Wanted is expected air later in the year.
