Marvel Entertainment and ABC have once again to fill
the gap between the Fall and Spring halves of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
with Agent Carter. The second season of the show will then premiere Tuesday, January
5 with a two-hour episode that will air between 9pm and 11pm. The show will
then resume on its normal schedule between 9pm and 10pm.
After the second season of Marvel's Agent Carter is
over, ABC will take a couple of weeks off from airing Marvel content, with
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. only returning for the second half of the third season
on Tuesday, March 8 at 9pm.
“Marvel’s Agent Carter” returns for a second season of
adventure and intrigue, starring Hayley Atwell in the titular role of the
unstoppable agent for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve). Dedicated to the
fight against new Atomic Age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must
now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment
yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home – and perhaps even a new
love – she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood
mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.
