Harry Potter franchise star Rupert Grint has signed up to star in the pilot
for Imperial City, an original comic book based series being setup at NBC.
Written by Ugly Betty creator Silvio Horta and Secret & Lies' producer
Aaron Kaplan, Imperial City follows Rupert, played by Grint (yes!), a "low-level
New York office drone" and son of a comic book creator who before his
death wrote a series titled Imperial City (yes!), which ran for nine issues, or
so we thought. When a collector informs Rupert of a tenth issue, it is revealed
that Imperial City actually is a real place and only he can save it. From what
we don't know.
