ABC has released the first promo for next week's episode of Marvel's Agents
of S.H.I.E.L.D., titled The Purpose In The Machine, which will include the
return of Peter MacNicol as Professor Elliot Randolph, who just so happens to
be the right Asgardian for the task ahead of Coulson and his team.
Fitz and the team enlist the aid of an Asgardian to unlock the secrets of
the ancient monolith that swallowed Simmons, and Agent May is at a crossroads
in her personal and professional life.
