Paramount Pictures
has released the first trailer for Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension,
the feature film debut of Gregory Plotkin, who worked as an editor in the
franchise's last four films, and a producer on the last three.
Between the shaky
cam, over abundance of jump scares, and cookie cutter plot of a family
discovering something evil in their basement, I feel that the Paranormal
Activity formula is starting to get old, and if box office gross is anything to
go by, so does the audience. Then again, it doesn't take much for the film to
be consider a success since their budget usually fluctuates between $3 and $5
million.

The Ghost Dimension opens on October 23.
