As if dealing with the
Mad Titan Thanos wasn't a challenge in and of itself, it looks like Earth's
Mightiest Heroes will have their hands full with yet another all-powerful foe.
According to a
casting notice in the Acting Auditions website (via SpoilerTV), Marvel is looking for someone to play
Magus in Joe and Anthony Russo's Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1.
Magus is the
manifestation of all the evil inside Adam Warlock created when Warlock picked
up the Infinity Gauntlet and cleansed himself of all the good and evil within
him. Magus was a powerful foe, who created evil doppelgangers of such characters
as Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Thanos.
If the casting notice
is real, then it would confirm that we will be seeing Adam Warlock join the
Marvel Cinematic Universe fold after all.
Avengers: Infinity
War - Part 1 hits theaters on May, 2018.
