In a move that would
probably displease his Birdman director, Michael Keaton is set to produce and
star in the adaptation of writer Brian Joines, and artist Bachan's Boom!
Comics' title, Imagine Agents, which follows the lives of two I.M.A.G.I.N.E.
agents called Dave Slatern, a jaded 20-year veteran, and Terry Snowgoose, the
rookie, who together police children's imaginary friends, whether they be a 30-foot
tall rock monster, or a 400 pound muscle-man rag-doll.
If this sounds
familiar to Men in Black or R.I.P.D. it's because it is, though let's hope it
turns out like the former and not the latter.
Keaton has few
interesting projects that you should keep an eye out for. The actor is set to
play McDonald's CEO Ray Kroc in The Founder, a journalist in Spotlight, and has
become attached to Kong: Skull Island.
