There are a handful
of TV revivals happening right now, but of those currently in production the upcoming 6-episode revival of the X-Files tops them
all for me. Entertainment Weekly has released our first look at the new series
featuring David Duchovny (Fox Mulder), Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully), Joel
McHale (Ted O'Malley) as a conservative news anchor that asks Mulder for help, Annet
Mahendru (Svet) as a woman claiming that aliens abduct her regularly, a set,
the first page of the script for the first episode, and creator Chris Carter
and his production team.
Premiering on January 24, 2016, the new X-Files series
will also count with the return Mitch Pileggi as Skinner, and William B. Davis as
the Cigarette Smoking Man.
