DC's Legends of Tomorrow - Who Are The New Heroes & Villains?


With Arrow and The Flash keeping up with fans expectations, The CW has decided to unfold their DC library with a new show. Legends of Tomorrow will feature the return of some already known characters such as Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) or Professor Martin Stein (Victor Garber), but it will also introduce some new ones, including a spin on a previously deceased character.

So who are they, and what can they do?

Character: Rip Hunter
Played by: Arthur Darvill (Dr. Who, Broadchurch)
Created by: Jack Miller and Ruben Moreira
Abilities: Time travel paraphernalia, time travel expert, and basic knowledge of hand-to-hand combat.

Other: Jay Jackson is not a DC character, which doesn't mean that he can't be a variant of one. His role was described as "a former high school athlete whose pro career was derailed by an injury. Now working as an auto mechanic, he will develop a surprising affiliation with the S.T.A.R. Labs team."
