And when we thought Barry and Iris would finally be
together, The CW throws us a curve ball named Wendy, a new character, who according to them we
should consider as a Felicity Smoak.
According to TV Line, even though Eddie's death opened
the doors for Barry and Iris to have a relationship, Wendy will pop up on the second
episode of the new season and swoop Barry of his feet.
Described as a "spunky, fun, and funny" police
officer with a very bright and scientific mind working at the Central City PD,
Wendy will become a major recurring character throughout
the entire second season.
The Flash returns this Fall.
