The cast of Roland
Emmerich's upcoming Independence Day 2 continues to grow. This time the
director has announced that the star of the recent acclaimed indie horror film
It Follows, Maika Monroe has landed an undisclosed role in the upcoming
sequel.

The actress joins returning cast members Judd Hirsch, Bill Pullman, Vivica A. Fox, Jeff Goldblum, and new faces to the sci-fi
franchise Jessie Usher, and Liam Hemsworth.
Independence Day 2 opens on June 24, 2016.
