From everything we have seen, writer/director George Miller's highly
anticipated Mad Max: Fury Road is shaping out to be all kinds of crazy,
including the somewhat impractical but cool looking cars.
Car and Driver just released images of ten of the 150 cars used in the long
awaited film, and they include a wide array of cars like a monster truck titled
The Big Foot driven by Rictus Erectus, or the Peacemaker, which is a mix
between a 1971-78 Chrysler Valiant Charger and a tank, and that is driven by
The Bullet Farmer.
Opening on May 15, 2015, Mad Max: Fury Road stars Tom Hardy as Max
Rockaransky, Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa, Nicholas Hoult as Nux, Rosie
Huntington-Whiteley as Splendid, Zoe Kravitz as Toast, Josh Helman as Slit, and
Hugh Keays-Byrne as Immortan Joe.
Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is
to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing
across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa.
They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something
irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs
and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
