It's still early to
know for sure when and how certain new characters will make their debut, but
according to Bleeding Cool, Marvel is planning to introduce Doctor Strange (Benedict
Cumberbatch) in Iron Fist's Netflix series.
Whether he will be
played by Benedict Cumberbatch as he is in the upcoming movie scheduled
for next year, or will be shown in a way that doesn’t need such a high
profile actor to be on set, I don’t know. But odds are that the
Cumberbatch will at least do the voice.
As always take it a
grain of salt, but the schedules to line up. Netflix is expected to launch Iron
Fist in the first half of 2016, while Doctor Strange is scheduled to premiere
on November 4, 2016.
