Sony Pictures Entertainment has tapped scribe Jay Basu
(Monsters: Dark Continent) to pen the screenplay for their upcoming adaptation
of Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid video game.
Produced by Avi and Ari Arad, the project is being set
up so Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer), who is in pre-production for
Kong: Skull Island can helm it.
