The cast for director
Kevin Smith's sequel to 1995 comedy Mallrats continues to grow. The director
has just announced that actress Joey Lauren Adams, who played TS Quint's (Jeremy
London) ex-girlfriend Gwen in the first film will be reprising her role in the
upcoming sequel.
Adams' joins fellow
returning cast members Shanned Doherty,
Jason Lee, Ethan Suplee, Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith, Jeremy London, and Renée
Humphrey.

Though I'm excited to see that the original mallrats
are coming back to reprise their roles in the sequel, I'm equally excited to
see who new Smith is able to bring onboard like he did for another one of his
sequels, Clerks II.
