It looks like Marvel
has made a request to Chiwetel Ejiofor that he can refuse. According to The
Hollywood Reporter, Marvel is courting the actor for an unspecified role in
director Scott Derrickson's upcoming Doctor Strange. Negotiations are still at
an early stage, and it seems that "several sources have intoned that
Ejiofor is wanted for a villainous role but some insiders have pooh-poohed
that."
If he is playing the
films main villain then I would venture a guess and say Baron Mordo, however
The Wrap claims that he might be playing The Ancient One, which would be
intriguing.
UPDATE: CHIWETEL EJIOFOR is DEFINITELY going to be in DOCTOR STRANGE, regardless of comment from Marvel & his reps.

In conversations later that day, was told he's NOT being eyed for the villain, but it's possible there's a REVEAL that Marvel wants to hide.

with a grain of salt, but what do you think of the Academy Award winning actor
