The New 52 introduced a plethora of new
elements to DC's Comic Universe including an affair between Superman and Wonder
Woman. A few months ago producer Charles Roven confirmed that they are using
Wonder Woman's New 52 origin story in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and
since then some began speculating what else would be used as inspiration for
the film. Well according to actress Amy Adams not the Wonder Woman/Superman
romance.
“It’s exciting to get to bring in all these
other characters and I was really excited that Gal (Gadot) was involved,
because it was a nice to have another girl on set, even if we don’t work
together a lot, it was nice to have her there", she said. "They always think that you put in another
woman and automatically… ‘Catfight!’ No, I think that’s a male fantasy thing. I
don’t think that’s reality. I don’t know how it will turn out, if we’re
going to be competition, but we are not in this, I can safely say, and we’re
not in real life. She’s just the coolest girl
ever.”
Opening on March 25, 2016, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry
Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Amy Adams,
Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, Ray
Fisher, and Jason Momoa.
