Homeland, The Divide, and Masters of Sex star, Marin
Ireland has joined the race to lead Marvel/Netflix
upcoming 13-episode Jessica Jones TV series by Melissa Rosenberg.
Ireland joins other actresses said to
be up for the role like Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad), Teresa Palmer (Warm
Bodies), Alexandre Daddario (True Detective), and Jessica De Gow (Arrow).
The
series follows Jones "a superhero suffering with post-traumatic stress disorder, which
leads to her hanging up her costume and opening her own detective agency, where
she ends up helping people and assisting other superheroes."
